Warning about Office attachments in emails
The sic TU Dortmund notices an increased amount of unencrypted, rarely used Office attachments with viruses and Trojans.
The file extensions are e.g..xlsm; .docm; .dotm; .xltm; .xlam; .pptm; .potm; .ppam; .ppsm; .sldm.
These are not scanned by all virus scanners. Please be extra attentive and try to avoid attachments altogether.
