EvaExam: Information on Version Update 2026.1 & Exam Data Cleanup

To mark the start of the winter semester, we will be updating EvaExam to the new version 2026.1 on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. EvaExam will be unavailable during this time.

A key new feature introduced by the update is the ability to configure additional time as a compensatory measure directly for individual students. This means it will no longer be necessary to create separate online exams for this purpose. For more information on this and other new features, please visit:

Note: Toward the end of the year, we will perform a routine data cleanup in evaexam. During this process , exam data whose designated retention period of 5 years has expired will be deleted. In addition, user and test accounts that have not been used for more than five years will be deleted. The exam data contained in these accounts will also be removed.

Affected accounts will be notified separately via email in advance. This will give you the opportunity to export any exam data you still need—including exam forms, question libraries, and results—in a timely manner, if you have not already done so.

Currently active exams, exam data, and accounts from 2021 to the present are not affected by the data cleanup and will be retained in accordance with the specified retention periods.
We nevertheless ask that you—as always—back up and archive these on your own.

If you have any questions about the update or the data cleanup, please feel free to contact us.
